Jade Garden, and the Blackmarket

Hmm it's been a while since i posted...

Last night I went clubbing...nothing interesting at all, except for seeing a bunch of nerdy chinese guys trying to dance...sad really.

To start the next day I went to the Jade Garden. Took lots of photos, but it was not nearly as cool as Suzhou was, so small. After that we went wandering outside to go shopping in the markets. The first thing I bought was a UFO. It floats in the air, it's magic! Well the shop keeper made it look so easy. Then after some wandering I decided to get some chopsticks. They are green with turtles. It originally costed 150Y, but I managed to get it for 60Y. I told someone else I thought I could get it for 50Y and she went and got it for 50Y. The thing about shopping at these shops is that you have to really bargin. If they say 150Y it's so over priced. You dont stop at half price you wanna go lower.

After the Jade garden we went to the Shanghai museum. It was errr nothing special. Got so bored that we took out the UFO to play with.

Going to the blackmarket was interesting. so crowded, and so many stores of rip off products. Soo many shoes. If you ever go there, there are guys on the street that will try to sell you shoes or "showz". They ask then show you a greasy sheet of paper and have you pick something to buy, and if you do want something they take you to some abandoned alley way..so creapy. They harrass you to no end. But luckily I was walking with a white guy so they just went straight to him and ignored me. I bought some taichi clothes while I was there, kinda feel dumb for getting it now but oh well.
