Wedding Weekend

Gabe and Kat finally got married. It was great except for the fact that we were in a hot sweaty church with no ac. I was helping out so everyone noticed me when I sweated a lot....a lot. I'm gonna post pics when I can find the camara.

During the dinner reception they had the crazy idea to have tables sing for them so that they would do a wedding game. Two teams did "In the Jungle" from The Lion King. All I remember about one of them was a guy kept saying Meow Meow Meow. But today they played that song on the radio, and I don't think I can hear it the same way again. Well the sucky thing was that many groups sung and they only did 2 games!! One was to putt and the loser (Gabe) had to carry Kat around the room. And the second was Gabe had to hide in the crowd while Kat tried to find him (She was wearing an old perscription of contacts). I was expecting some crazy wedding things. I guess that will have to wait for the next wedding.

At one point in the party, the older people started doing ball room dancing. Looks kinda cool, yet kinda old folky =P

After all the old people left (about 10-11ish) they let us younger guys dance. It was pretty fun I guess since it was just full of people we knew. It was nice meeting up with old friends like Alfred, Jennette, and Sonia. Although Sonia didn't stay for the dancing. Alfred didn't mind dancing with me while we made fools of ourselves.

Softball

Sunday started out all rainy. We were to play the Remnants. Thats the team that steals our practice field! On top of everything, they wanted us to play in the rain! Jason saw this and he made the decision to crush them. We ended up playing in the rain. It wasn't that bad, until it started to get sunny. Thats when it felt super sticky and whatnot. Some crazy things happend. Justin got burned by one guy, so he said he got angry. He proceeded to hit a ball down the line and nailed the third baseman. Sooooo painful. Soooooo bad. We ended up winning, and that was our first game in a while. That makes us 3-4. Just two more wins and we have a chance for the playoffs.

After the game we had a breather at Dairy Queen. Hmmm I got a burger there? 0.o

We then decided to watch the Paladins. Pretty cool because while there I met up with none other than 白火！We caught up and talked during the game. Met up with 白火的朋友 Ryan from Shiu Ying's class. Apparently he plays for the Charabim. But we don't play him. Too bad.
